Frances & Star’s Coffee Refuge is proudly owned and operated by Veronica and Sandra Hodge-Hampton, a married couple of 15 years who call Mableton, Georgia home. As a women-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned business, we’re more than just a premium coffee brand—we’re a reflection of love, resilience, and community. That's why it's named after our Mothers. Our coffee is roasted by a fourth-generation local roaster, using beans from sustainable farms in Brazil, Colombia, and Jamaica—and offered in a variety of grinds so everyone can enjoy their perfect cup at home or on the go. Our mission is simple: to offer smooth, premium coffee that calms your chaos and satisfies your soul. 

We love God, coffee, and community. After over 30 years in the Film & Television Industry, we’ve learned a thing or two about what it means to truly connect with people. As a married couple of 15 years and empty nesters, we felt called to start something that brings our passion for hospitality, faith, and flavor together in one experience. We still juggle high-pressure environments, creative personalities, and long film hours with grace and intention, but we also pour that same energy into something more personal. Frances & Star’s Coffee Refuge is our way of offering comfort, care, and community in every cup.
